BK9 Client Academy - Elite Pet Obedience Training

We are revolutionizing the standard of pet dog training in the Greater Cleveland Area. With training programs designed to equip you and your dog with the skills you need to succeed, we do not settle for mediocrity. All of our board and train clients (dog and owner alike) are required to complete our BK9 Obedience Test, comparable to The American Kennel Club’s Novice Obedience Title, before graduation from The Client Academy. Dogs graduate automatically upon completion of our Standard Board and Train program, but owners must complete all five free follow-up sessions to earn a graduation certificate and be featured on our social media page. Our aim is to create a community of highly trained dogs and educated owners ready to take on the real world.

Standard Board and Train (6 Weeks - $3,250)

Do you struggle to communicate with your dog? Does your dog’s behavior make it difficult to live a normal life? Are you afraid that if you give your dog too much freedom, they will be in danger? We love our dogs, but wouldn’t it be a whole lot nicer to have some peace of mind?

Most dog owners have just accepted the fact that their dog will rule their life. That is because most dog owners don’t know what their dog is capable of. Well, we promise that you have never seen anything like the dogs we train. At Beegan K9 Solutions, we prepare your dog for life in the REAL world. Our goal is to make your experience owning a dog as convenient and SAFE as possible.

Our standard board and train option follows a tried-and-true program developed by some of the best trainers throughout the Midwest and backed by the field of animal behavior science. The program combines aspects of traditional obedience training with practical in-home management skills and a special emphasis on owner education. We meet your dog where they are at; each dog gets a custom designed training plan based on their individual needs and client concerns. All dogs that go through our program will achieve working levels of off-leash competency in the following behaviors:

  • Recall, sit-stay, down-stay, place, heel, hard road boundaries

In addition to training your dog, we will also train YOU. By the end of the program not only will your dog be a rockstar, but you will feel more than capable of applying their training on your own. That is why we offer up to five complimentary follow-up sessions to any of our previous board and train clients (all five must be completed within a month of your dog coming home to remain free of charge*). One is mandatory upon pickup and at least two sessions will take place at the client’s home address to assure the dog’s transition home goes as smoothly as possible. In the near future, we also plan to offer weekly focused skills classes to previous clients who want to take their dog’s training to the next level.

When choosing a trainer for your dog, it is important to know what you are paying for. Ultimately the question is: what will your dog look like at the end of the training program? To see what our dogs look like, check out our “Day in The Life: BK9 Academy” series on the media page of our website. You can also check out reviews from past clients here.

Behavioral Rehab Board and Train

It is true that some dogs carry more baggage than others. Many owners struggle with more severe behavioral issues involving fear or aggression that require some more time to unpack. If you are that owner, we are here for you. At Beegan K9 Solutions, it is our passion to make sure that every dog lives life to the fullest.

Our behavioral rehab board and train option starts with an extensive evaluation of your situation. Through this process, it is decided whether or not your dog fits the criteria for our rehab program. You would be surprised how many behavioral issues can be fixed by just our standard board and train program. From there, if your dog does need rehab, our goal is to provide you with the information you need to make the best decision for your dog, even if that means referring you to a more specialized trainer. In the end, we want what is best for your dog.

If it is decided that you and your dog are a good fit for our behavioral rehab board and train program, we will design a customized training timeline that is subject to change depending on the progress of the dog. Typically, this means at least 8 weeks (~2 months). In other words, your dog stays with us until they are ready to be reintroduced back into the world. Most dogs that go through our rehab program also partake in the obedience portion of our standard board and train program. With a dog that has extreme behavioral issues, a solid understanding of obedience is crucial to allow the dog to live a normal life.

We understand that this is a difficult decision to make and will try our absolute best to work within your financial constraints to give your dog a fighting chance at a normal life. If you are looking for help, reach out to us right now for a free consultation.
